The outrageous promises made by self-help "experts" get tiresome after awhile. Some of them are outright lies. Asoka Selvarajah's latest ezine addresses this in the article, A Self-Help Reality Check. He takes particular aim at the New Age-y stuff around Quantum Physics, having studied this subject at the Ph.D. level.
A little "due diligence" can be helpful. Not to mention common sense, and openness to our own innate ability and intuitive guidance to balance out over-reliance on experts.


Thanks for the post. I've been interested to find out what people think of all of these self-motivators. I got some self motivation books last week and their actually really great. I could see how some of them might be a little redundant however.
