I'm a writer; an empty nester/long-distance mother to two 20-something daughters; a real estate investor/wholesaler; a former therapist and coach, and life-long afficianado of personal development.
Maybe it's my age, but writing a professional bio bores me to tears. Since I am happily self-employed, allow me to present the "Cliff Notes" version of my bio:
Clinical Therapist - 20 yrs. - done
Life & Career Coach - 10 years - done
Wrote and published a self-help book - done - check out "Tug of Heart - How to Trust What You Know," and was a contributing author to the book, "The New Private Practice - Therapist-Coaches Share Stories, Strategies, and Advice," edited by Lynn Grodzki, both available at Amazon.
Real Estate Investor - new business in '06 (www.CashforHomesUpstate.com, www.housesforsaleingreenville.com). Definitely a 180 degree career turn, but I'm using my coaching and group skills, along with all the marketing skills I picked up in past careers.
Writer - Lifelong (but I went into hiding for over 2 decades).
Spiritual Seeker - Lifelong
Married to the same dear fellow for an awfully long time (bell-bottoms were the rage!), and mother of two daughters who finally left adolesence (thank God!), turning into these amazing adult creatures!
A life-long Ohioan who followed her husband (and his job transfer) to South Carolina in July 2004. We love Greenville's weather and Southern hospitality but still root for the Ohio State Buckeyes!
i love to spend time near mountains, play bridge when i can remember all the rules and conventions, or to queen when i want to let it rip, and connect with far-flung family and friends., listen to rod stewart croon to me when i'm down, sip a mellow cabernet or two
